Finding My Lane: Why I'm All In On Residential Construction
Ever feel like you've taken a few detours in life? Yeah, me too. For years, I chased the direction of whoever was writing the checks – employers, clients, you name it. That took me all over the map, dabbling in different aspects of construction and real estate. But you know what? Residential construction has always been my true north. Now, don't get me wrong. I've learned a ton from every experience, even the ones that didn't quite pan out. There was that one time I jumped into a market that just wasn't the right fit – let's just say I learned quickly what not to do! And another time, young and eager, I jumped at an opportunity that seemed too good to be true... and it was. Over my head and learning a lot about myself and people in general. Through it all, I kept my hand in the game, always keeping up with my continuing education in building science and home construction best practices. It was like a hobby that fueled me, even when I wasn't actively working...
